Chairman’s Message
I feel myself privileged that by virtue of my office i enjoy the patronship of this highly prestigious institute whose unprecedented cyclonic role in the field of education cannot be overlooked. Since Excelsior College Swat has suffered a lot from vandalism, so i personally believe that this College deserves special attention. But I am happy that this seat of learning is touching the zenith and pinnacle of success under the auspices of able administration. The staff and administration has displayed a supreme ability to recover from the rubble in the aftermath of catastrophe. The phoenix like rise of the Excelsior College Swat from the very ashes of its ruination is nothing less than a miracle.
It is indeed a sign of glee for me that the Herculean task of the construction of Excelsior College Swat building is completed, boundary wall has been erected students have shifted to proper hostel building and presently more than 100 students have sought lodging in the majestic building of College hostel. Social and co-curricular activities are in full bloom and in this regard Excelsior College Swat auditorium is the centre of all these activities.
Much has been done and much remains. But I have firm faith in the College administration. I hope they will pursue their motto and will work hard with dedication, integrity and positivism.
Well-done Excelsior!

History Excelsior College Swat
Excelsior College Swat was founded in 1989 as Swat Model School. The school was established in response to the closure of admission to boys in Public School Sangota, which had been the only well-established school in Swat for boys.
The school was initially housed in a suite of bungalows in Saidu Sharif. The school’s founder, the then Divisional and District Administration of Swat, aimed to provide quality education to boys in Swat through a non-profit basis, fee paying institution.
Despite the meager resources and lack of infrastructural facility, the school was able to win a place of pride and prestige in the educational arena in Malakand Division within a short span.
In 1990, the then Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Sardar Sikandar Hayat Khan Sherpao, allocated land and funds for the construction of a permanent campus for the school. The construction of the campus was completed in 1996, and the school was upgraded to a college and renamed Excelsior College Swat.
Excelsior College Swat offers a variety of extracurricular activities, including sports, clubs, and societies. The college has a strong sports program, and its teams have won numerous awards at the district, provincial, and national levels.
The college also has a number of clubs and societies, including the debating club, the literary club, and the science club. These clubs and societies provide students with opportunities to develop their interests and talents.
